I passed out in 1987. I happened to visit 2 times to Burla thereafter. one by alone and last with my family during Golden jubilee celebration. Things were not changed much excepting few additions. The 4 years of UCE life came one by one the moments I entered the Campus. I moved to North Hostel(then) and showed to my son the room used to be mine in final year. The room was once shared with Mr Niranjan Parhi, now with Indian Air Force. I had taken refreshment at our canteen with my family, the place was once frequented by me. The campus took me back to 20 years. The fields, lawns, cycle shop at roadside, Remedy junction, Gaiety Talkies, Dam side, link road above all old Canteenwalla “Gopal” were the blocks in the UCE life. All I visited lest these might be missed. I still remember all my friends. They were wonderful !
i did civil engineering in 1969 from u.c.e..icherish so many sweet memories of the college.i have retired as chief engineer,u.p.irrigation.i would very much like to be in touch with my contempories,and will like to visit my alma matter.
I was overwhelmed when i saw this site.would like to be in touch.
